What Harmony Endpoint does
Harmony Endpoint, formerly known as SandBlast Agent, protects laptops, desktops and servers against malware, ransomware, phishing and fileless attacks. It combines signature and behavioural detection with Check Point's threat emulation, which detonates suspicious files in a sandbox.
Key capabilities
- Anti-ransomware with behavioural detection and automatic restoration of encrypted files
- Endpoint detection and response (EDR) with automated forensics reports showing how an attack started and spread
- Threat emulation and extraction: sandboxing downloads and delivering safe, sanitised copies of documents
- Anti-phishing and credential protection in the browser
- Full disk encryption, port control and firewall options for compliance needs
- Posture management to spot vulnerable software
Who it suits
Organisations that want strong prevention with built-in EDR, especially those already using Check Point firewalls or other Harmony products. It also supports the malware protection control in Cyber Essentials.
